Welcome to the New Zealand Timber Museum, showcasing the history of the Timber Industry in the South Waikato. We are located on State Highway 1, 3 kms south of Putaruru. The South Waikato District's connection with the Forest Industry dates back to the turn of last century.

Opening Hours

We Are Open Every Saturday & Sunday From 10am to 4pm.

Please look for the sign as we may be open on other days. Guided tours for groups are available on weekdays by prior arrangement.
